DONATE TO THE LATVIAN SOCIETY

The Latvian Society is founded upon and depends on contributions from our members, donors, and organizations who believe in a mission that speaks to Latvian-Americans living in the United States.  The Society continues to connect with modern Latvia by sharing art, music, and culture. It is also active in the process of developing programming that relates to the historical Latvian experience in Philadelphia and America. Finally, it addresses current events in the Baltic region and especially the crisis in Ukraine which affects Europeans and Americans alike as Latvia is a NATO country.

The Society has operated as a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization since it was established 130 years ago.

While any contributions during this period would be deeply appreciated by the Society, to sustain its continuing operations, it must be noted that contributions, before reinstatement is achieved, will not be tax-deductible.

Every dollar that any donor will put in today will be seen directly in our events and performance spaces, new member databases and a new website that connects our community. We also seek support for the general upkeep of the building that will see new and exciting programming for our members and guests who will come in our doors on North 7th Street.
