"Sajūtu spēles" joins music and poetry, the sound of the piano and the human voice, to create a dialogue that leaves an inimitable impression on the audience. Its first part features piano music by Latvian and Ukrainian composers, interspersed with poetry from musician and collector of sensations Ainars Knesis' new collection "Unplayed Texts." Andrejs Osokins will play piano music by Jānis Mediņš, Jāzeps Vītols, Adolfs Skulte, Wolfgangs Dārziņš, Valentin Silvestrov, and new piano improvisations prepared by the pianist himself, created especially for each "Sajūtu spēles." In the second part of the work, a singular musical-literary dialogue will consist of the romantic, magnificent and temperamental pearls of piano music by the German composer Robert Schumann and the cycle of poems "Letters to Solveig by Peer Gynt" composed by Jānis Grots in 1938. The first meeting of Gundars Āboliņš and Andrejs Osokins on stage took place in the summer of 2023 during the Osokins Freedom Festival for Ukraine, for which the artists created the program "Sajūtu spēles" with poetry by Ainārs Knesis. In cooperation with the "Ola Foundation," this concept has been enriched with the romantic piano music of Robert Schumann and the poetry of Jānis Grots and has continued its journey to audiences all over Latvia. This fall, lovers of Latvian music and poetry living in America will be able to experience the delightful performance of "Sajūtu spēles" in the masterful performances of Andrejs Osokins and Gundars Āboliņš.

In each center, the organizers hope not only for a responsive Latvian audience, but also for the participation of representatives of Estonian, Lithuanian and Ukrainian society and audiences in these concerts, after which there will be an opportunity to donate funds to the Ukrainian support campaigns established by Andrej Osokins on ziedot.lv, which have received widespread support due to the "Osokins Freedom Festivals" in Latvia. Over twenty thousand euros have been donated from the ticket proceeds of festival events and the funds donated to the ziedot.lv special campaign portal for the festival's charitable purposes. You will be warmly welcomed to the performances of TILTS' 55th anniversary U.S. tour of "Sajūtu spēles"!
