Lots of great vendors with Latvian and other gift selections.
Delicious cuisine will be on offer downstairs in the cafe area, plus homemade desserts to die for -- not to mention the obligatory pīrāgi and piparkūkas (pierogies and gingerbread cookies) on sale upstairs.
Park the kids in the supervised children’s craft area and then slip into the bar for Baltic beers and stronger stuff.
This is the time to meet up with everyone you haven’t had a chance to see in a while, whether your best Latvian friends or that cute person you spotted at one of the theatrical events the Latvian Society hosts.
Maybe you’ll win a prize in the lottery (cross your fingers for the annual Latvian basket). Then stick around for a happy hour, to sing and carouse until the wee hours.
